About this kit
Bucilla have been making felt applique kits for decades, and this is the sort of project that ends up on the mantel every December for thirty years. The pieces come stamped on felt, so you are cutting and stitching rather than counting — which makes it a reasonable first applique project even if your needlework so far has all been knitting.
The design is a snowman out in the snow holding a sign that asks Santa to stop here, with a few animals keeping him company. There is a blank panel for a name, and our advice is to leave it until the stocking is finished — lettering is easier on a piece you are no longer handling.
